SOLEN is a limited liability Company registered in Dubai, UAE. SOLEN acts as an independent power producer (IPP) with a focus on emerging African markets, with specific attention to the energy requirements of industrial and critical national infrastructures. 

SOLEN, with its Specific Purpose Vehicles (SPV) for each project transaction in the respective African countries, acts as an independent power producer. SOLEN aims to install solar power plants and sell the energy generated to state-owned utilities as well as captive electricity consumers in the commercial and industrial segments. SOLEN is a technology-driven company that utilises state-of-the-art technical software and solutions to offer competitive and reliable power systems in the form of Solar Grid Tie or PV-Diesel – BESS hybrid mode.

Our Portfolio

SOLEN has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with State Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company, “Société d’Energie et d’Eau du Gabon” (SEEG) for 120MWac capacity, for a fixed price long-term contract spanning 25 years. 

SEEG is a state-owned energy transmission and distribution Company in Gabon. SEEG is Gabon’s energy and water supply utility company. SEEG generates, transmits, and distributes electricity in Gabon.

Phase 1: The capacity of the Solar Power Plant will be 30MWac with 8MWH BESS will be located near Ntoum in Gabon. The project site is in the Estuaire Province; about 30KM from the capital city of Libreville. The Project is set to be connected to a 225/90KV Ntoum-2 substation, which is 10KM from the proposed site.
